Nowocoat has developed a wall impregnation solution that enables graffiti removal using only cold water and high pressure. The treated surface can endure at least 16 refinishing processes.
Many Danish municipalities, housing associations, institutions and businesses can now realise substantial savings on graffiti removal expenses.
Nowocoat, based in Kolding, has created a unique remedy for wall impregnation, allowing unwanted graffiti to be eliminated with a high-pressure rinse of cold water. This method requires no cleaning agents or solvents and the effects of the impregnation are nearly permanent.
The new Nowo Anti Graffiti Seal functions by applying a transparent and nearly invisible membrane to the surface, preventing graffiti paint from penetrating the wall. Instead, it remains on the membrane’s surface, making it easy and quick to wash off.
What sets Nowo Anti Graffiti Seal apart from other graffiti solutions is its long-lasting impregnation, which nearly provides a permanent fix. Studies have shown that the membrane can withstand at least 16 high-pressure graffiti cleanings at up to 100 bar before reimpregnation is necessary. This results in significant economic, labour and environmental benefits, as the wall does not need to be reimpregnated after every graffiti removal. Over time, only quick, cost-effective and environmentally friendly high-pressure cleaning will be required.
This new solution is based on siloxane hybrids and can be applied to all types of walls and surfaces, including concrete, eternit, brick, wood and metal. It can be applied using a brush, roller, or professional spraying equipment, resulting in a transparent and nearly invisible membrane that creates a waterproof and highly durable barrier while remaining diffusion-open, allowing the wall to breathe.
Nowo Anti Graffiti Seal is available in 5 and 25-litre plastic tubs and is sold exclusively to professional users.
