NowoProtect S-40
NowoProtect S-40 is specially developed for waterproofing masonry and other absorbent materials. It is produced using monosilanes (single molecules) that react only when they encounter moisture. This chemical reaction, known as hydrolysis, creates a strong chemical bond with the OH groups in the substrate, forming robust SiO bonds that cannot be washed away. NowoProtect S-40 is a thin, colourless liquid, containing over 40% active ingredients, with ethanol as its propellant.

Application:

NowoProtect Dry S-40 is easy to apply with a sprayer, as covering is usually not necessary. Only in the case of special window types or particularly weather conditions, it may be necessary to wipe before or after application, as the solvent (ethanol) evaporates without damaging the substrate. NowoProtect S-40 can be applied directly to surfaces that are less than one year old. For surfaces older than one year, thorough cleaning with water, either mechanically or manually using a stiff brush or pressure washer, is required. Surfaces with discolouration, algae and moss growth should be treated before and after cleaning with Neutralon and then rinsed with clean water. The same process applies to heavily soiled surfaces. NowoProtect S-40 is applied to the new or cleaned and dry surface in reasonable quantities with a low-pressure sprayer/airless or similar. To be applied by allowing it to flow freely towards the surface without pressure until it is saturated. Use e.g., airless spray guns. Do not apply with a brush. The material must remain as a liquid film on the surface for several seconds. Horizontal surfaces must be wet and shiny for 3-5 seconds, vertical surfaces must have a shiny curtain of 30-50 cm.
