NowoMetal Special Primer SB is a water-based one-component primer based on alkyd/acrylic binders, containing corrosion-inhibiting additives. It is suitable for painting roofs and facades made of steel, aluminium and zinc.
This primer is easy to apply and provides excellent protection against rust, as well as water and chemical contamination. The product dries quickly. The resulting paint film is highly elastic and resistant to peeling, even when applied in thick layers.
Prior to application, ensure the surface is clean, dry and completely free from dirt, moss, algae, loose rust and paint residues. Always perform a test swipe on a small area to ensure compatibility of the product and the surface being treated.
NowoMetal Special Primer SB bonds to challenging metal surfaces and acts as a rust inhibitor.
Important!
Avoid dry layer thicknesses exceeding 25 µm, as this may lead to intercoat adhesion problems.
