NowoMetal RustConverter serves as a primer that can be directly applied to rusty surfaces of iron or iron alloy. This product is a mineral acid-free rust treatment specifically designed to neutralise corrosion on ferrous metals and components. NowoMetal RustConverter should be applied solely to rusty areas and must be subsequently repainted.
Ensure that the surface is completely free of oil, grease, loose rust and paint residue. Apply the product using a brush, roller, or airless spray. Ensure complete coverage of all rust-affected areas. Depending on the surface condition, two coats may be necessary to achieve full coverage and treatment (wait at least one hour between coats). The surface will be dry to the touch after 30–45 minutes. Allow it to dry for at least 24 hours before repainting. Always test for compatibility prior to use.
