NowoFloor Epoxy Coating is a waterborne, two-component, decorative floor paint that offers excellent protective properties. The system is based on epoxy resin and consists of a pigmented epoxy resin (Component B) and a hardener (Component A). This product is especially suited for use on mineral surfaces like concrete, masonry, plaster, stone and similar materials. ts high resistance to mechanical wear makes it ideal for warehouses, storage facilities, car parks, garages and poorly ventilated spaces such as basements and showrooms. It is also suitable for walls and ceilings in environments exposed to chemicals or moisture.
NowoFloor Epoxy Coating can be applied no sooner than 7 days after the concrete has been laid, ensuring that the moisture content is below 10%. The concrete surface must be clean, dry and free from dust and impurities like grease, oil stains, asphalt, wax and paint residues. For larger areas, blasting or high-pressure cleaning is recommended. The application should be performed at a temperature of at least +15°C. Apply the first and second coats when the substrate temperature is dropping to reduce the risk of bubbles and improve penetration. Coverage capacity: 0,2-0,3 m²/liter depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Two to three coats are recommended depending on the surface condition. NowoFloor Epoxy Coating can be applied by brush or roller.
