2025 – a year of progress at Nowocoat
At Nowocoat, Coating the Future is more than a tagline – it is how we approach our work every day. In 2025, we took important steps to strengthen our foundation, scale our capabilities and deliver even greater value to our customers – without compromising who we are.
Below are some of the key highlights from 2025 that we are particularly proud of.
Strengthening the organization
Throughout 2025, we continued to strengthen our organization across the Nowocoat Group. We invested in our sales force, operational setup, marketing capabilities and leadership – ensuring we are well equipped to support customers, scale responsibly and grow sustainably.
At the same time, we strengthened collaboration across functions and sites, further reinforcing the already close ties between our teams in Kolding and Falun.
Investing in production capacity
During the year, we initiated and made several investments in our production facilities in both Kolding and Falun. These investments prepare us to deliver even better solutions to even more customers in 2026 and beyond – with higher efficiency, flexibility and robustness.
Breaking production records
In 2025, we reached new production milestones, including producing 80,000 litres of paint in a single day – a clear testament to the strength of our operations, our planning and, most importantly, our people.
Advancing more responsible coating solutions
Innovation remains a key driver at Nowocoat. In 2025, we successfully introduced several new solutions, including our water-based Nowo RustProtect and, for industrial applications, our Advanced Acrylic Platform offering C5 corrosion protection.
These developments underline our ambition to combine high performance and durability with a lower environmental impact. We work systematically to reduce VOC content and expand our portfolio of water-based solutions – helping move the market in a direction where performance and responsibility go hand in hand.
Certifications and market firsts
Upping our game with added certifications and ‘market firsts’, 2025 also marked several important milestones:
- Introduction of the market’s first Nordic Swan Ecolabelled roof coating
- CE-marked solutions for concrete primers, water-based epoxy solutions for flooring applications and other coatings used for building structures
These achievements reflect our ability to operate where regulation, performance and environmental considerations meet – and to translate complex requirements into practical, high-performing solutions.
Tailor-made solutions as a competitive strength
One of Nowocoat’s core strengths continues to be our ability to develop tailor-made industrial coating solutions – even in small batch sizes. In 2025, we completed multiple customer-specific developments, allowing our customers to optimize their production and processes without having to adapt to standardised, one-size-fits-all products.
This close, technical collaboration is central to how we create long-term partnerships and real value.
People, culture and collaboration
Most importantly, we achieved all of this while preserving and strengthening the culture that defines the Nowocoat Group – deepening collaboration across sites and reinforcing partnerships with customers and suppliers.
